The CYPRUS FEDERATION OF HUNTING & WILDLIFE CONSERVATION has been established since 1952 by the then hunting associations, Nicosia, Limassol and the hunting associations of Famagusta, Larnaca and Paphos.
The goals of the Federation have since been defined in its statutes and include the protection, development and enrichment of the Cypriot fauna, the preservation and development of hunting resources in the country in the context of sustainable management, the promotion of the sport of hunting, the organization of hunters in hunting associations, the coordination of their action to improve the conditions of hunting, the development of hunting education and knowledge of the environment as well as the care of hunting dogs. In the context of promoting the above goals, the Federation cooperates with other international organizations both in Europe and around the world, such as FACE (European Federation for Hunting and Conservation) which consists of organizations from 37 countries and represents 9,000,000 members of hunters in Europe and wider Europe and the CIC (International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation).
KOK & DAZ is undoubtedly the largest active environmental organization in our country and the only legally recognized representative of the Cypriot hunters. Every active Hunting Association throughout Cyprus is a member of the Federation, whose representatives and representatives promote its goals practically but where necessary, and through the promotion of legislation through the parliamentary parties.
Structurally, the Federation consists of its associations throughout Cyprus integrated into it through its provincial departments.
